Travel notices are designed to inform travelers and clinicians about current health issues related to specific destinations. These issues may arise from disease outbreaks, special events or gatherings, natural disasters, or other conditions that may affect travelers’ health.

  1. Watch - Dengue in the Americas

    Dengue is a risk in many parts of Central and South America, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Some countries are reporting increased numbers of cases of the disease. Travelers to the Americas can protect themselves by preventing mosquito bites.

  1. COVID-19 Very High - COVID-19 and Cruise Ship Travel

    CDC recommends that all people avoid travel on cruise ships, including river cruises, worldwide.

  1. COVID-19 High - COVID-19 in Guam

    Travelers should avoid all nonessential travel to Guam.

  1. COVID-19 Moderate - COVID-19 in Burundi

    Travelers at increased risk for severe illness from COVID-19 should avoid all nonessential travel to Burundi.

  1. Alert - Polio in Africa

    There are polio outbreaks in several countries in Africa. CDC recommends that all travelers to these countries be vaccinated fully against polio.

  1. COVID-19 High - COVID-19 in Sri Lanka

    Travelers should avoid all nonessential travel to Sri Lanka.

  1. COVID-19 Moderate - COVID-19 in the Falkland Islands

    Travelers at increased risk for severe illness from COVID-19 should avoid all nonessential travel to the Falkland Islands.

  1. COVID-19 Unknown - COVID-19 in Papua New Guinea

    Travelers should avoid all travel to Papua New Guinea.

  1. COVID-19 Very High - COVID-19 in Suriname

    Travelers should avoid all travel to Suriname.

  1. COVID-19 High - COVID-19 in Timor-Leste

    Travelers should avoid all nonessential travel to Timor-Leste.
