International Rates: The U.S. Department of State and Department of Defense release international and U.S. Territory lodging rates and M&IE per diems on a monthly basis. This is reflected in the Lodging, Meal & Incidental Per Diem Calculator.

State Rate: The UW System continues to negotiate the state government maximum (currently $98) with preferred hotel partners whenever possible.

Upcoming Travel: UW preferred hotel partners and chain-wide hotel partners have been informed of the rate increases and are applying them to future reservations within Concur or with UW Travel contracted agencies.

Conference Travel: Lodging for travelers attending externally sponsored conferences or other business events will be paid or reimbursed at the actual cost for staying at a conference-site or conference designated hotel(s) when the nightly rate exceeds the per diem maximum for the location.
