The Governor’s Wisconsin Educational Technology Conference (GWETC) celebrates its 10th anniversary on October 8 – 10, 2002, at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison. On-line registration is available at www.gwetc.org. Attendees that register now save with an early-bird registration discount.

GWETC is Wisconsin’s premier educational technology conference, attracting more than 1,500 educators from across the state. Attendees come from a cross-section of Wisconsin’s educational arenas, representing PK-12 schools, higher educational institutions, governmental agencies, and businesses.

Attendees can choose from a one-day registration (either October 9 or 10) or a two-day registration. Also, GWETC is offering a drastically reduced registration fee for pre-service/full time students to encourage them to take advantage of the vast array of educational sessions offered at the conference.

In addition to 100 breakout sessions and nationally-recognized keynote speakers, the 10th anniversary conference features more than 100 vendors representing a wide range of services and products supporting educational technologies. Several hands-on computer workshops are offered as pre-conference sessions.

GWETC is sponsored by TEACH Wisconsin, the University of Wisconsin System, the University of Wisconsin-Extension, Wisconsin Association of Independent Colleges and Universities, Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, Wisconsin Educational Communications Board, and the Wisconsin Technical College System Board.
