MADISON, Wis. – University of Wisconsin System President Kevin P. Reilly today announced five finalists who are being considered for the position of chancellor at UW-River Falls.

A 19-member search and screen committee, chaired by UW-River Falls Professor James Madsen, recommended the finalists to Reilly and a special committee of the UW System Board of Regents chaired by Regent Brent Smith.

The five candidates will participate in a variety of public forums from November 19 through December 6, where they will interact with faculty, academic staff, classified staff, students and community members.  The community forums, open to the general public, are listed below.  For details on campus forums, go to www.uwrf.edu/chancellorsearch/. Reilly and the Regent committee will then interview the finalists in Madison on December 17.  The final appointment of a new chancellor must be confirmed by the full Board of Regents.
