MADISON — University of Wisconsin System President Kevin P. Reilly today announced the names of the finalists for the position of senior vice president for academic affairs for the UW System.
The finalists will be interviewed in Madison the week of May 14. Semifinalists were interviewed by a search and screen committee chaired by Executive Senior Vice President Donald J. Mash.
The finalists and their titles are as follows:
- James L. Applegate
Vice President for Academic Affairs and Senior Fellow
Council on Postsecondary Education (Frankfort, Ky.) - Andrew R. Bodman
Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs
Western Washington University (Bellingham, Wash.) - Estela R. Lopez
Former Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs
Connecticut State University System (Hartford, Conn.) - Rebecca R. Martin
Interim Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs
University of Wisconsin System (Madison, Wis.)
The person chosen will succeed Cora Marrett, who left the senior vice president role in December to become assistant director of Education and Human Resources at the National Science Foundation.
