MADISON ―Alumni and friends of the 26 campuses of the University of Wisconsin System are invited to an evening at the ballpark for a systemwide reunion at Miller Park in Milwaukee.
The event, “Our Big UW System Reunion,” will be held Saturday, June 12, at Miller Park in Milwaukee. Gates open at 4 p.m., with pre-game festivities at 5:30 p.m. The Milwaukee Brewers face the Houston Astros at 6:05 p.m.
The UW System Alumni Council will host the evening’s events, including pre-game on-field activities; singing of the national anthem by Tiara Purifoy, a UW-Whitewater alumna and a finalist on FOX’s American Idol; campus recognitions; and special VIP first pitches from UW representatives.
“This reunion marks the first statewide meeting of alumni from all 26 UW colleges and universities around the state,” Lyall said. “Everyone is invited to join in this celebration of summer and help UW alumni root for the home team.”
Special ticket prices for UW alumni and their guests are $16 for loge outfield box seats, and $8 for loge bleacher seats. UW alumni and their families are encouraged to contact their campus alumni association to place ticket orders by Tuesday, May 25.
