“On behalf of the entire University of Wisconsin System, I want to extend a warm welcome and congratulations to Dan Clancy, who was selected by the Wisconsin Technical College System Board to serve as the next president of the 16-college system. The University has already had the good fortune of partnering with Mr. Clancy during his service as interim president since last summer, and we are anxious to build on this productive relationship.
“I anticipate more constructive collaborations between the UW System and the Wisconsin Technical College System, especially related to our cooperation on credit transfer and expanding the number of baccalaureate degree holders in the state; workforce and economic development; and providing seamless educational opportunities to all citizens through the Wisconsin PK-16 Leadership Council.
“We congratulate the WTCS Board for their selection of a strong leader, and look forward to strengthening the partnership between our institutions under Dan’s leadership.”
