As local conditions permit, two University of Wisconsin System campuses will remain OPEN today.
UW-Milwaukee and UW-Superior this morning were exempted from the Governor’s order to close all State offices, based on local assessments that conditions do not warrant closure at this hour.
Chancellors at the two campuses will closely monitor conditions throughout the day and may cancel classes later if conditions worsen to the point that student and staff travel become dangerous.
UW System Administration and campus officials will continue to work closely with Wisconsin Emergency Management throughout the day to monitor the situation.
