The Office of Academic Affairs facilitates and supports faculty, staff, students, and UW System universities to develop, implement, and evaluate initiatives and policies that align university programs with the current and future international and global education needs of our state and nation.

This position provides administrative support for the Office of Academic Affairs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparing and publishing content in the learning management system
  • Assist in preparing reports
  • Conduct and summarize literature reviews
  • Compose, revise, and edit documents
  • Create and update forms
  • Develop and edit spreadsheets
  • Data entry
  • Other business office duties as needed

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Good organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Skilled in typing, data entry
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to apply judgment and analysis to work performed
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team and independently

 COMPENSATION

  • $15.00/hour

WORK HOURS 

  • Student may work 20 hours per week during the summer and over breaks. During the school year the student may work 6- 10 hours per week.
  • Work will be completed during regular business hours of 7:30am to 4:30pm M-F. Minimum expectation of two days in-person.
  • The duration of this appointment is for May 2024 -25 with renewals possible contingent on factors such as funding, availability, program needs, student status, and satisfactory performance.
