Updated 11/10:…and slow performance appear to have been resolved as of yesterday afternoon. A OS server process appeared to be the primary cause and is being adjusted to reduce its potential impact in the future. Original 11/9:…are being experienced on tableau.wisconsin.edu. Server administrators have been notified.

Update 11/6/2020: The provisioning application was run manually yesterday afternoon with no errors. Its regular overnight run also completed successfully. …yesterday morning for about 4 hours. A process that was only supposed to affect new sites unexpectedly prevented UW-Madison and UW-Whitewater users from logging in. Server admins will be putting a more robust procedure in place to avoid this type of error in the future.
