Is all abatement work done by the state’s abatement contractor?
- The majority of the abatement will be done under separate contract prior to the General Prime Contractor (GPC) arrival. As detailed in the documents, the GPC will be responsible for abatement where they are required to connect to existing systems. Please see Addendum 7, specification section 02 82 13 (specifically page 1 and 2) for estimates of that work.
What is the amount of pipe and duct asbestos removal work in the General Prime Contractor’s scope of work?
