The Universities of Wisconsin was recently recognized with the America Saves Week Savings Champion award!
The award recognizes organizations, nonprofits and government agencies that achieved remarkable impact during America Saves Week, a national campaign that encourages individuals and their families to save money, reduce debt, and build wealth.
The Universities of Wisconsin was one of 20 recipients honored with this distinction out of 5,300 organizations that participated in America Saves Week, which took place April 6 – April 10, 2026. During the week, the Universities of Wisconsin coordinated financial well-being webinars, financial counseling sessions, and personalized credit checkups to encourage financial well-being. Nearly 500 employees participated systemwide.
