Well-being champions representing several Universities of Wisconsin institutions and state agencies were recently recognized by the Department of Employee Trust Funds (ETF) for excellence and innovation in well-being during an Awards Ceremony held at Olbrich Botanical Gardens. The below institutions received awards.

  • UW-Green Bay received the Excellence and Innovation in Employee Well-being award for creating a fun and engaging culture of well-being, making the initiative a draw for employee recruitment and retention.
  • UW-Whitewater Chancellor Corey King received a Personal Spotlight award for their well-being inspiration by being intentional, approachable, down to earth, and thoughtful, helping to make sure all employees feel like they matter.
  • UW Oshkosh had the highest percentage of participation (45%) in the Well Wisconsin Program for institutions with more than 1,000 eligible employees.
  • Universities of Wisconsin Administration had the highest percentage of participation (47%) in the Well Wisconsin Program for institutions with less than 1,000 eligible employees.
