Office of Learning Technologies
The Office of Learning Technologies serves the needs of teaching and learning by developing collaboration opportunities among all UW System institutions and is also the home of the Digital Learning Environment (DLE) Service Management team. We recognize the value in exploring and leveraging technology tools and services across the UW institutions by supporting the UW System Learning Technology Development Council.
Through a cooperative approach with other UW System stakeholder groups such as (but not limited to) the Council of UW Libraries (CUWL), the Educational Media Technology Council (ETMC), and the Office of Professional and Instructional Development (OPID) we identify strategies to overcome barriers to student success.
Learning technology has been proven to enhance all modes of instruction, including face-to-face, blended/hybrid/hyflex, and fully online. By leveraging data and making connections, we seek to identify and address needs, share teaching and learning best practices, and bridge the technology gap between cloud-based tools and physical classroom systems.
