Go Wisconsin Informational Events

Let us get together. Whether you are in Wisconsin, Minnesota, or Illinois, we are here to support your efforts to help students get to college—and ideally, a UW university. We will work with you to build the right program for your students and their families.

In-Person Opportunities

We are available for school and community presentations, college fairs, and classroom visits. We tailor our sessions by grade level and need:

Middle School Presentations

  • Overview of the Universities of Wisconsin (30–45 minutes)
  • Intro to the Universities of Wisconsin
  • What it means to attend a 2-year vs. a 4-year UW
  • How to start preparing for college now

High School Presentations

  • Overview Presentation (30–45 minutes): Students learn about all 13 UW universities, 2-year and 4-year options, and how to prepare for college.
  • Application Demo (40–50 minutes): A step-by-step look at the Universities of Wisconsin Admission Pathway Portal—perfect for juniors and seniors.
  • Application Completion Workshop (40–50 minutes, grade 12): Students work on and complete their UW applications with guidance from the Go Wisconsin Team.
