Overview
During the Annual Benefits Enrollment (ABE) period each fall, some institutions may schedule in-person benefits fairs. The Department of Employee Trust Funds (ETF) and benefit vendors host virtual benefits sessions. Review the information below for events that will occur during ABE, September 25 – October 20, 2023.
Benefits Fairs – In-person
Benefits fairs give you a chance to meet with the various benefit plan vendors in-person. In the fall of 2023, most UW System institutions will host in-person benefits fairs. Review the benefits fair schedule for more details.
Benefits Forums – Virtual
ETF is hosting a series of virtual benefit forums for you to connect with benefits vendors during the 2024 ABE period. The benefit forums will provide the same personal interaction with a vendor as a benefit fair from the safety of your own home or office.
The forums are 90-minutes and you can attend one or multiple vendor sessions. Each vendor session will be 15 minutes and include a short presentation followed by questions and answers. Attendance is optional. You must pre-register.
Each session will be moderated to help answer as many questions as possible. All general, vendor-appropriate questions are welcome. Please do not ask questions that include personally identifiable information (PII) or protected health information (PHI).
