Foster Student Contacts and Programs

The Universities of Wisconsin support college access and success for youth with lived- experience in foster care or homelessness or who are orphaned or wards of the court. This group of students strengthens our university communities and adds value to the educational experience for all students, faculty, and staff.

Get Connected

11 UW universities operate Fostering Success programs (linked below) dedicated to supporting the success of eligible students. Each program has a coordinator who oversees a campus plan for identifying, connecting with, and providing services to eligible students. All 13 UW universities have a contact person to provide information and assistance to former foster youth.
