Advanced Placement Exams

Take AP courses in more than 40 subjects like calculus, biology, or U.S. history. Score a 3 or higher on the final exam, and you’ve got your first college credits.

International Baccalaureate Exams

More than 4,500 secondary schools in 110 countries offer college-level courses that prepare students for IB exams. If your high school offers IB courses, you may be eligible for credit. There are two tracks for students enrolled in IB programs: standard level (SL) and higher level (HL). All UW universities grant credit for HL (Higher Level) exam scores of 4 or higher.
