The UWBI 2018 Summer Summit was help on Wednesday July 25, 2018 at the Pyle center located in Madison, WI. There was a great turnout of representatives from:

- UW-Madison
- UW-Oshkosh
- UW-Platteville
- UW-River Falls
- UW-Systems Administration
- UW- Stout
- UW-Whitewater
The summit started with a kick-off from Robert Flum (UWBI Operational Manager), Steven Hopper (Assoc. VP, CIO, OLITS), and Ben Passmore ( Assoc. VP for Policy Analysis and Research OPAR). Transitioning to: accomplishments and status, continuous operations updates, technical discussions, a networking lunch, tips, tricks, and best practices, training, communications and support, guest speakers Renee Pfeifer-Luckett (Director Learning Technology Development) and Stacy Scholtka (Project Manager) on Canvas, next steps, Q&A, and closing remarks.
