On September 23, 2020, the UWM Enterprise Data Management Team held a virtual Open Lab to assist campus data consumers with any questions or tutorial needs. Prior to the pandemic, these labs were held in person in a computer lab on campus.
Interested campus staff members could choose a 30-minute time slot on our calendar and then members of our team would virtually meet using Microsoft Teams. This allowed us to screen share and thereby provide more meaningful information.
We received positive feedback from this initiative and hope to schedule another session after the upgrade to OAS.
