    UW-Eau Claire students Molly McIlquham and Kyle Geib use an ozone monitor to measure the air at the same height at every stop during their fieldwork along Lake Michigan. They also record the local conditions, like temperature and wind speed, as measured by a hand-held weather meter.

    UW-Eau Claire alumnus Erin Klaus stands in the new location of Tangled Up In Hue, the art collective she and her business partner have operated in downtown Eau Claire since 2009. Klaus says her undergraduate experience at UW-Eau Claire was a big factor in the decision to start a business downtown, and the business has grown amid an overall revitalization of the area.
