We know studying abroad is a big investment. That is why the Universities of Wisconsin provide clear, comprehensive cost information to help you plan your education with confidence.
A wide range of scholarships and financial aid is available across the UWs, including merit-based awards, renewable tuition waivers, and need-based assistance. Many awards are listed in each university’s online searchable scholarship portal, allowing students to explore the different options.
Some UWs also automatically consider applicants for non-resident tuition remissions, so you can receive support without an additional application.

From pre-arrival checklists to campus tours, and from helping set up phones, bank accounts, and transportation to providing support throughout your transition, we are here to make your transition smoother.
If you meet academic admissions criteria but need to improve your English, some UW universities offer English Language Programs as a pathway to full admission.
Already taken college-level courses (like International Baccalaureate or A-levels)? Great! UW universities will help you transfer qualifying credits.
Your UW experience is more than a degree. It is a launchpad. Each university has an international student services office to help you succeed, navigate your visa responsibilities, and make the most of your time in Wisconsin. Stay connected to this office throughout your time at your UW.
