Get Ready to Apply as a Transfer Student

Continue your college experience at a UW. Now that you have decided to apply to at least one UW university, it is time to develop a plan to work through the admission process.

1. Know the Transfer Admission Requirements
Start by reviewing the transfer student admission requirements. Each UW university may have slightly different criteria, so be sure to check the campuses you are most interested in. It is also important to not only research the UW university admission requirements, but also any requirements required by your intended major.

2. Understand How Your Credits Will Transfer

3. Prepare an Admission Essay (If Required)

5. Apply Early
