The High School Special program gives eligible high school students the opportunity to take real UW university courses while still in high school. Enrollment depends on meeting course prerequisites and available space, and students (or their families/guardians) are responsible for the full cost of tuition and fees.
Before applying, connect with your high school counselor and a Dual Enrollment Coordinator at the UW university you’re interested in—they can help you choose the right courses and guide you through the process.
To participate, you’ll also need to complete the Universities of Wisconsin Early College Credit Program and High School Special Agreement Form.
