A new Department Financials Dashboard is now available in Workday, giving users with finance security roles quick access to commonly used reports, resources, dashboards, and tools all in one place.
The dashboard was designed primarily for Department Administrators and Staff, but anyone with a financial-related security role can use it.
Note: What you can access may vary based on your assigned security role(s).
Here’s what’s included in each tab:
- Worktags & Administrative Reports – Find key financial information such as Cost Center, Foundation Data Model (FDM) values, worktags, and how to find business processes awaiting your action.
- General Accounting – Access accounting-specific information in Workday. In addition, find resources related to Gift and Grant driver worktags.
- Budget & Financial Reporting – View commonly used management reports to help you understand and monitor your departmental financials.
- Payroll & Staffing – Access a starting point for staffing, supervisory organizations (sup orgs), payroll accounting, costing allocations, and more.
- Procurement & Expenses – Find ordering and expense report information.
- Customer Accounts & Internal Service Delivery – Access quick links, reports, and tasks for Customer Accounts and Internal Service Delivery (ISD).
