Visit the Workday job aid library to access hundreds of support documents, tipsheets, and how-to videos for common Workday processes. If you’ve searched resources and still can’t find what you need, use the following tools to get support.

The following tools can be used by anyone with UW login credentials with multifactor authentication, including:

  • IT professionals

  • Student employees
  • HR, finance, and research administrators

Get Help Virtual Assistant

The Get Help virtual assistant answers questions about common employee and manager actions in Workday, such as:

  • Managing pay and direct deposit
  • Submitting time and time off
  • Handling purchasing
  • And more

GetHelpUW

The GetHelpUW support portal provides direct assistance and guidance to relevant job aids for all Workday users. Review answers to common questions or submit a ticket to:

  • Report system outages or issues with slow system performance
  • Submit requests for bug fixes
  • Request a new location or edit an existing location in Workday

For non-Workday-related technical problems, such as issues with your work computer, contact your university’s IT help desk.

Language Services
