Teaching and Learning Philosophy

As a member of our Teacher Education faculty at UW-Parkside, I believe that it is imperative that I not only enact practices of antiracist teaching, but I am able to foster this practice in our teacher candidates. I also hope that I can foster awareness and sensitivity to race and privilege in our teacher candidates and help them develop their own antiracist teacher identities.
