
UW Colleges (2-Year Campus) Transcripts
The UW Colleges closed in the summer of 2019. At that time, the University of Wisconsin Extended Campus began serving as the data custodian of education records of the former UW Colleges students who attended a two-year campus prior to September 1, 2019. The UW Colleges transcript remains the official academic record of these former students.

Replacement Diplomas
Degree Verification
Outside agencies, and other third parties, can verify a student’s degree earned using DegreeVerify through the National Student Clearinghouse.
On July 1, 2018, UW Colleges officially joined seven four-year UW institutions as branch campuses.

1098-T Tax Reporting
With the closing of the UW Colleges in 2019, your 1098-T Form for that year was mailed to your home address in January 2020. As required by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Form 1098-T was mailed by Jan. 31 to all students who had qualified tuition and other related educational expenses paid during the previous calendar year.
Collection of Outstanding Debt
UW Extended Campus will monitor any outstanding student account balances of former UW Colleges students that existed prior to September 1, 2018. This includes, answering student questions about account details, and clearing student accounts’ of transcript holds associated with past due balances.
UW College Courses Online
The former UW College Courses Online is no longer offering courses, but the University of Wisconsin Extended Campus has partnered with UW System campuses to offer a variety of 100% online degrees and programs. See the link below for more information.
