PASS and Post-PASS v3.0 have been released on Oasis. As discussed in today’s SIS Tech Managers meeting, Luke has tested the most recent versions of PASS and Post-PASS, and they are ready for all campuses to install and verify.
Please note that we have opted to synchronize version numbers between PASS and Post-PASS moving forward. These versions will be prerequisites for EAP, as EAP is being built on this foundation. If you have any issues or concerns during installation or verification, please let us know.
Important note for both applications: Please be sure to read the install guide and build the tables properly. Several fields were renamed and require special build procedures. This is documented in each install guide as well.
PASS 3.0.3
Release Notes:
- Added a new method to handle HTTP error response codes. Now, it no longer shows a 500 error as a failure to parse the message. (incident 111964)
- Added two indexes to the UW_PA_INCOMING record for performance (Service Request 111829)
- Changed the formatting of the fields on the Get a Person page
- Campus Status
- Added a prompt record UW_PA_CAMP_STAT to the UW_PA_CAMP_STATUS field in UW_PA_WORKER
- Added the process status and campus status to the Get a Person page (Service Request 111815)
- Created a new setup page to define the statuses specific to each campus

Post-PASS 3.0.3
Release Notes:
- Revamped the “Interface Config” page
- Changed the layout from the grid to a table format with an edit button
- Added options for the birthday, gender, and SSN
- Separated the update flag between an existing person and a new person
- Added a remove if terminated flag
- Removed the Yes/No for student at the top of the config page
- Added the Workday ID as one of the data types on the config page
- Potential matches were not showing properly
- Issue was with the keys on the underlying table
- Fixed the sequence number so that the keys were correct
- Added the Email/Phone priority page to the Admin Permission List
- Added logic to remove data elements if they don’t exist in PASS
- Added logic to remove data elements if a person has no active jobs
