Faculty Associate | Supply Chain Management, Marketing

Verda Blythe is director of educational assessment for the Wisconsin School of Business and a faculty associate in the Marketing Department; she is also affiliated with the Grainger Center for Supply Chain Management, where she served in a director role for 12 years. Verda’s teaching portfolio includes several courses in the undergraduate and full-time MBA program including Fundamentals of Supply Chain Management; Marketing Channel Strategy; Global Experience in Supply Chain Management; Personal and Professional Foundations in Business; Business and Society: History, Politics, Globalization; and Ethical Leadership. She has received multiple teaching awards including the Honored Undergraduate Instructor Award by UW-Madison (2010 2012), Award of Excellence in Teaching by the Student Faculty Board (2013 – 2014), and was voted Marketing Professor of the Year by the Mu Kappa Tau student organization in 2015 and 2016. Verda was named a UW-Madison Educational Innovation (EI) Blended Learning Fellow in 2015, and has given several conference presentations about designing and delivering EI techniques and best practices.
