Interim Director / Associate Professor | Communication

Sarah E. Riforgiate (M.A. and Ph.D., Arizona State University, Tempe) is an Associate Professor and the Communication Internship Director at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She served as the interdisciplinary Peer Review of Teaching Program (PRTP) Director at Kansas State University, was certified by and is a reader for the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE), was a coach for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Online Blended Teaching Program Community of Practice and is currently a Wisconsin Teaching Fellow and Scholar (WTFS). Her research and teaching concentrate on the intersections of organizational and interpersonal communication, particularly regarding public paid work and private life to increase understanding and develop practical solutions to improve interactions. She also researches and is interested in furthering best practices in higher education to promote student engagement and learning.
