Associate Professor | Professional Program in Education
Dr. Gichobi is currently an Associate Professor in the Professional Program in Education at UW-Green Bay. She graduated from Kenyatta University with Bachelor in Science (Mathematics Major and Education Minor) and doctorate and masters in mathematics education from Iowa State University. She has experience in teaching high school mathematics, community college and in preparing teachers of mathematics. Her field of interest is in mathematics teaching and learning, specifically focusing on pre-service teacher preparation. My research interest focuses on effective practices to prepare mathematics teachers.
