Lindsay Bernhagen, Ph.D., serves as the inaugural director of the Center for Inclusive Teaching and Learning at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP), where she also teaches courses in Women’s and Gender Studies, Sociology, and Education/Educational Sustainability. In addition to her work at UWSP, she serves as the editor of To Improve the Academy: A Journal of Educational Development and publishes and speaks regularly on issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Dr. Bernhagen holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Studies (with a graduate minor in college and university teaching), an M.A. in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, and an M.A. in Music all from Ohio State. She is originally from Central Wisconsin.
