The UW System Library Program Office supports library staff, students, faculty and researchers on the 26 University of Wisconsin campuses by coordinating and managing system-wide shared collections and services. The Library Program Director works with the Council of University of Wisconsin Libraries (CUWL) to develop long and short range plans for the libraries and to secure funding for shared initiatives. Programs managed by this office include:

  • The selection and management of shared, centrally hosted library systems
  • System-wide delivery of library materials
  • A responsive and varied shared electronic resource collection
  • Support for training and continuing education
