UW System materials should use the font choices listed on this page.

Lato and Open Sans are to be installed on all UWSA computers. If you do not have the Lato and Open Sans fonts installed – or if you want them for your home computer – download Lato and Open Sans fonts for free from Google Fonts.

Body Copy

SAN-SERIF *

Use Open Sans for body copy in emails, Word documents, PowerPoints, etc.

An Alternate Typeface

Univers by Linotype can be used for pieces being professionally published by those who have licensing. Note that Univers is not part of the UW System logo and should not be used directly alongside the mark. Contact Public Affairs & Communications if you have questions about using Univers.
