Realizing the Wisconsin Idea: Fueling Wisconsin’s Economy through Collaborative Research & Innovation

The 13 UW universities fuel the state’s economy by competitively acquiring billions of dollars of funding to support innovative research at the frontiers of knowledge.  Research administrators at each campus foster and catalyze this success and are working together through the Wisconsin Research and Sponsored Programs Council (WiRSP) to further grow, support, and diversity research and sponsored programs by increasing competitiveness through collaboration, coordination, and leadership across the UW System.
