In-Person Convenings

The Wisconsin Research Advancement Network (WiRAN) Symposium was Oct. 23-24, 2023, at Glacier Canyon Lodge in Wisconsin Dells. The symposium was attended by institutions of higher education throughout the state of Wisconsin. UW-Whitewater coordinated the symposium. In addition to inviting the Wisconsin Research and Sponsored Programs Council (WiRSP), coordinators encouraged participation of other centers that work on grants throughout UW campuses, as well as representatives of state agencies such as the Department of Natural Resources. The symposium provided an opportunity to collaborate and network with other research support centers from institutions across the state.
