The Educational Media Technology Council (EMTC) supports technological learning environments that enhance learners’ effectiveness and efficiency.
Our Goals
The purpose of the EMTC is to provide a forum for addressing educational media and technology issues that affect individual campuses and the University of Wisconsin-System as a whole. The EMTC provides leadership and innovation in the design, development, production, and implementation of educational media and technology.
The Council membership represents extensive expertise in a variety of instructional technology and support areas, including distance education, classroom design and operation, web development, interactive media creation, synchronous/asynchronous media development, management of digital media creation, instructional design, faculty development, and technical support, as well as student learning.
The council collaborates and works closely with other UW-System Councils in supporting information and instructional development and delivery
