Campus Agreements with Foreign Country of Concern (FCOC) Counterparts
(non-R1 UW Universities only)
- Process
- To enter into an agreement with a FCOC Counterpart, each campus designates a FCOC Manager and assembles a FCOC Committee.
- Before convening, the FCOC Manager completes the General Council Intake Form to request that an Office of General Council (OGC) representative join the team. (Example completed Intake Form)
- If you do not have copies of the FCOC Agreement Review Process & FCOC Agreement Worksheet, request these when completing the General Council Intake Form.

- China, N Korea, Russia, Iran, or any other country determined to be a country of concern by the Department of State.

- There may be federal requirements associated with Research Security Training.
- In cases where no federal requirement exists, campus FCOC teams should seriously consider requiring all campus personnel who travel to a FCOC to complete the UWS Research Security Training.
