Wisconsin’s statewide tornado drill is scheduled for Thursday, April 11, 2024, at 1:45 pm and 6:45 pm.
You will be notified of the 1:45 pm drill by the UWSA Emergency Alert System. This alert is sent to your official email and your mobile phone. (Please use the MyUW portal to add your mobile phone or ensure your mobile information is accurate. Click here for specific information on how to do this).
The UWSA Emergency Alert will be sent out at approximately 1:45 pm on April 11th informing you of the tornado drill and to proceed to your building’s tornado shelter location. Once the drill is complete you will receive an ‘All Clear Alert’ via the UWSA Emergency Alert (approximately 5 minutes after the initial alert).
These drills are a critical step toward ensuring your safety by informing you of the necessary safety measures and designated tornado shelter locations in the event of this type of emergency. We appreciate your full cooperation.
