Fiscal Year 2026 Appropriations
On February 3, 2026, President Trump signed H.R. 7148, the “Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2026″ into law. For more, you can review the bill summary, but importantly, with passage of this legislation and following President Trump’s signature, the partial government shutdown ended and the Department of Education is now funded through the duration of the federal fiscal year.
