Board of Regents

Establishes policies and rules for governing the UW System, conducts planning to meet future needs for university education in the state, sets admission standards and policies, reviews and approves university budgets, and establishes the regulatory framework within which individual units operate.

Division of Academic & Student Affairs

Promotes and ensures academic quality in the Universities of Wisconsin and encourages efficient use of resources to achieve that end.

Division of University Relations

Responsible for oversight of the Office of Government Relations, Office of Economic & Employer Engagement, Office of Business & Entrepreneurship, Office of Educational Opportunity, and Wisconsin Institute for Public Policy & Service.

Office of the President

The President has full executive responsibility for the operation and management of the Universities of Wisconsin.

Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference

Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) competes at the NCAA Division III level and consists of nine UW universities.
