Training Seminars

As a recommendation stemming from behavioral health workgroups in Spring 2020, the Universities of Wisconsin annually offers culturally responsive training opportunities for staff and faculty to enhance their knowledge and skill in working with our diverse range of students, particularly the strengths, challenges, and needs of underrepresented and marginalized student groups. The over-arching goal is to foster a culture that supports a sense of belonging and wellbeing for all students to support student success. Trainings began in 2021 and have thus far focused on meeting the needs of students of color, LGBTQ+ students, and students on the autism spectrum. We welcome faculty and staff from all disciplines and backgrounds to attend and participate in these trainings.
