UW-La Crosse

Director, Center for Advancing Teaching and Learning

I’m an accomplished instructional designer with a passion for training & development. I have years of experience managing various projects with corporate, non-profit, and higher education clients. I enjoy developing relationships, and excel at determining and executing creative learning solutions to teaching, learning, business, and communication challenges. I started my career in instructional design at eCornell where I wrote a job description for their first intern while in graduate school. From that experience, I was hooked on learning and design. I went to Southern New Hampshire University as an instructional designer and then managed the instructional design team. Then, it was time to move back to Wisconsin where I started as an instructional designer in CATL at UWL. I worked at UWL for six years and enjoyed working with many driven and thoughtful faculty across many disciplines. I stepped away from UWL for four years to be the director of training and development for an elearning consulting firm. I am so pleased to back to UWL as the Director of CATL.
