UW-Superior

Director, Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning

Associate Professor | Writing

Jamie White-Farnham is Associate Professor in the Writing Program and Director of Library & Center for Learning, Innovation and Collaboration (CLIC) at UW-Superior. Her areas of research and scholarship are rhetoric, argument, and advocacy in contexts related to women’s lives and material conditions. After teaching first-year writing for 17 years in various institutions as an adjunct instructor, graduate teaching assistant, and eventually as a tenured faculty member, Dr. White-Farnham felt called to serve a new constituency, peer instructors, and moved to a full-time administrative role. She is grateful to OPID for the resources and support it brings to UW-Superior’s instructors and for the opportunities to connect with cross-institutional colleagues.
