Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) file transfers allow you to transmit your .csv and .pdf data files to us over a secure channel through the PowerSchool interface. If you prefer, our Manual File Upload tool can be used to submit both the .csv and .pdf files.
SFTP set-up requires a Direct Admit Administrator account. If you have an account, you can log in here. If you do not have an account, follow these instructions to request an account.
Set-up Steps
- Log in to the Direct Admit Administrator Portal.
- Server Configuration:
- Locate the Server and Username under the section SFTP Information in your Direct Admit Wisconsin High School Dashboard. These items will need to be loaded into your PowerSchool instance to communicate with our servers.
- Copy the provided server and username details into the Infinite Campus Data Extract Utility.
- Click on Download Private Key to download a keyfile (keyfile.ppk)
- Click on Download Public Key (public.ppk)
- Return to the Universities of Wisconsin SFTP Set Up page and complete the instructions for importing your keys and creating the SFTP connection.
