Direct Admit Wisconsin Opt-in Information

1. Our school district will assist with implementation starting late winter/early spring of 2024. Direct Admit Wisconsin will launch with the high school class of 2025.
2. Our school district must use either Infinite Campus, Skyward or PowerSchool for our student information system.
3. Our school district must have staff to do the initial set-up, criteria verification, associated actions, and trouble-shooting in the student information system. This will include some actions to be taken over the summer months.
4. Our school district will enter into a data-sharing agreement with the Universities of Wisconsin. Students may also be asked to complete a FERPA release and opt-in/opt-out. Sample data-sharing agreement will be posted to www.wisconsin.edu/direct-admissions.
5. Our school district will collaborate with the Universities of Wisconsin to assist students and inform stakeholders about Direct Admit Wisconsin.
6. Our school district will participate in check-ins with the Universities of Wisconsin Direct Admissions team.
7. Our school district will have appropriate district staff attend training related to the set-up and actions needed in the student information system. The Universities of Wisconsin is committed to working with SIS vendors to provide appropriate training opportunities and support.
