The Universities of Wisconsin will host a day-long workshop focused on supporting student success through the use of Navigate360. Content will center on effective strategies for maximizing the use of Navigate360 across the system. Together, we will discuss how UW universities currently utilize the platform and identify opportunities to unlock its full potential in support of student success. Participants will engage in cross institutional discussions to surface shared challenges, exchange promising practices, and explore innovative approaches. Examples of strategic and impactful Navigate360 use at universities will be showcased, and campus teams will have time to reflect on priorities and plans for the upcoming year.

Description: Join UW-Whitewater App Admins to learn about various ways to use Care Units and other features. They will discuss how UW-Whitewater is using Care Unit setup to support the Fund for Wisconsin Scholars Program, dual enrollment staff, and documenting retention outreach efforts for the Committee on Cohort Retention. This session will allow for open discussion for campuses to share successes and barriers.

Designing Technology to Strengthen the Human Side of Student Success

Description: This session will highlight how intentional upfront investment in automation design, AI features, and scalable templates within Navigate360 can strengthen student support and advance each of our personal missions to help students succeed. By reducing repetitive administrative work, individuals and teams can redirect time toward higher-impact conversations, stronger relationships, and the pivotal moments in the student experience. We will invite participants to join in the dialogue by sharing practical strategies that have paid dividends across the academic year, particularly where early planning resulted in capacity and impact later.
Building Momentum Through Change: How We Advanced Navigate

Description: Hear from UW–Platteville staff as they share how they embraced organizational change and turned it into measurable progress. Learn how they dramatically increased progress report completion, launched student journeys, built automations to improve the transfer student experience, and expanded case management to include Athletics and Residence Life—among many other impactful improvements.
Communication Strategies

Description: After many years of trial and error, UW-Whitewater will share some of the communication, promotion, and analytics successes that helped to clarify processes and promote usage of the Navigate360 platform. This spotlight will include care unit access grid overview, intervention calendar, creative ways to use the intervention effectiveness dashboard, and where or how to share this information.

Description: UW-La Crosse has started a process with campus partners to identify students who do not intend to stay enrolled in the current semester, but are still enrolled in courses. Learn about how this has streamlined the process for their Student Life Office as far as withdrawing students before having to work with backdating withdrawals, dealing with overdue tuition bills, etc.
Open Lab Training Sessions at UW-Milwaukee

Description: UW-Milwaukee will be spotlighting a strategy that is centered around a series of open labs that have been hosted for academic advisors and coaches since spring 2024. These one-hour open labs are opportunities to dive deeper into a specific feature/tool in Navigate360 and answer questions from staff users. The labs are hosted over Microsoft Teams to screen share and provide live demos in the platform. After the open lab sessions, there is follow-up with resources on the topic such as a slide deck, PDF quick guide, and other relevant Help Center articles. These open labs are used for sharing strategies and platform updates but also allow for the gathering of insights on staff users' concerns and areas of need.
Leveraging Navigate Features for Ongoing Reflection & Growth

Description: During this interactive session, presenters will share tangible strategies for using Navigate logs and reporting. These tools are used with both student and professional staff in daily operations and ongoing reporting. Presenters will delve into methods for disaggregating usage data as well as strategies for analyzing reports in a team setting.
From Alerts to Action: Using Navigate360 Campaigns to Improve Retention and Demonstrate Impact
- Megan Torkildson, Director, Educational Success Center, UW-Superior
Description: This session will highlight how UW-Superior uses Navigate360 campaigns, including Progress Reports Campaigns and Appointment Campaigns for Ad-Hoc Alerts and Advising, as a coordinated strategy to support at-risk students and improve persistence. Participants will learn how campaign workflows were structured, how student engagement was tracked, and how outcomes were translated into measurable retention and tuition-revenue impact. Lessons learned and ideas for adapting these strategies at other UW universities will be shared.
Leveraging EAB Navigate in Housing

Description: Utilizing student staff to engage students who receive academic alerts in Navigate has increased student-staff connection. Utilizing case management best practices, UW-Stout Housing has created a unique system to reach students who struggle or need assistance.
