Help Students Submit Their Direct Admit Form
Please encourage your students who have received Direct Admit Wisconsin offers to take the next step and submit their Direct Admit Form. Submitting the form notifies UWs that made admissions offers that students are interested and want to learn more. It’s a key step towards enrollment in the UW of their choice.
Once students submit the Direct Admit Form, they will get an email confirmation from each UW they have selected, with the subject line: “You have successfully submitted your Direct Admit form to [UW campus name].”
If a student has filled out the form but did not receive confirmation email(s), they may not have clicked “Submit.” To complete submission, they can log into their account in the Universities of Wisconsin Admission Pathway Portal. Open the Direct Admit Form, click edit, and advance to the final signature screen and the following confirmation pop-up, clicking “Submit” on each.

Did your student not receive an admissions offer email? If students who should have been sent an offer email tell you they did not receive one, please have them check their spam/junk email folders before contacting us.
Please note: Universities of Wisconsin Administration does not communicate to students who do not receive a Direct Admit admissions offer because they do not meet one or more of the eligibility criteria. Each high school decides how to notify or communicate with their students who did not receive offers. The Direct Admit Wisconsin program is just one pathway to enrollment with UW universities, and this is not a denial of admission. Students who did not receive Direct Admit Wisconsin offers are encouraged to connect with UW universities and explore the traditional application process through the Universities of Wisconsin Admission Pathway Portal.
Need to Add or Correct Students?
Ad Hoc Submissions September 8-October 31
If your high school submitted students during the Direct Admit Wisconsin summer window, and needs to add a few students, or update or correct previously submitted students, you can do so September 8-October 31 using the Ad Hoc Student Submission Process. (Those who submit in the fall window can also subsequently add or update students using the Ad Hoc Process.)
Ad Hoc submissions are for students eligible for Direct Admit Wisconsin who were inadvertently missed during the regular submission window, or who were placed incorrectly due to a technical error.
Each student that needs to be added or corrected will be submitted individually via the high school administration dashboard. (If you have multiple students to add or correct, please contact us at directadmitwi@wisconsin.edu for assistance.) A confirmation email will be sent to the person who submitted after each Ad Hoc submission has been reviewed and confirmed.
Students submitted via the Ad Hoc process will receive admission offers on a rolling basis in September and October. Upon receiving the admissions offers, students can complete the Direct Admit Form in the Universities of Wisconsin Admission Pathway Portal, which notifies UWs that made admissions offers that students are interested and want to learn more.
Starting the Monday after receiving the confirmation email (and no earlier), high schools that use Infinite Campus and Skyward SMS can elect to post copies of the Direct Admit Wisconsin admission offer letter to the parent and student portals using the designated SIS processes. (If you receive a confirmation email on a Monday, you can post the letters the next Monday.) See the SIS documentation in our Technical Documentation Library.
Please Complete Brief High School Information Survey
Please complete a brief survey (one response per high school) intended to gather essential information about your Direct Admit Wisconsin processes (e.g., student information system, high school contacts), to ensure that we have the most up-to-date information in our internal systems. The survey should take no more than 2-3 minutes to complete. Deadline: November 18.

Please contact us at directadmitwi@wisconsin.edu if you have questions or want to discuss your responses with us. Thank you for all the work you do!
Fall Submission Window Closed
Thank you to all the high schools who submitted students during the fall window! Direct Admit Wisconsin file submissions for the class of 2027 are now officially closed. Students submitted during the fall window will receive admission offers on a rolling basis in September and October via their high school email address with a mailed admissions packet to follow.
If your high school has submitted files and needs to add or correct students, you can use the Ad Hoc Submission Process (above) through October 31.
