About Julie L. Amon
Dr. Julie Amon serves as Associate Vice President for Enrollment & Student Success (effective June 15, 2023). She has more than 25 years of experience in enrollment and student success initiatives at several institutions, both public and private, with varying sizes, missions, and student profiles.
Most recently, Dr. Amon served as Vice President for Student Affairs at Tarrant County College (TCC), Fort Worth, Texas, where she led a division comprising 11 departments including academic advising and counseling, career and transfer services, student conduct, behavioral intervention, and the veterans resource center. Prior to TCC, Dr. Amon served as Vice President of Academic Affairs at Paul Quinn College, Dallas, where she oversaw faculty, the Registrar's Office, Academic Advising, and other academic services. As Vice Chancellor for undergraduate education and student success at Rutgers University-Camden in New Jersey, Dr. Amon led a new division comprising the Educational Opportunity Fund Program, TRIO Student Support Services, the Rutgers-Camden Learning Center and Disability Services, Institutional Research, Instructional Design and Technology, Off-Campus Programs, and the Registrar's Office.
At Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Dr. Amon served a year as Acting Dean of Undergraduate Studies and as the Assistant Dean for First-Year Students. Early in her career, Dr. Amon led orientation, convocation, and other campus events while at Wayne State University in Detroit and served as an academic advisor at Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights.
Dr. Amon earned her doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania in higher education management, with her dissertation research focusing on how men pursuing STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) disciplines perceive the supportiveness of their campus environment.

Dr. John Achter joined the Office of Enrollment & Student Success in August 2020 as the UW System's first Student Behavioral Health Coordinator. From Sept. 17, 2021, to June 14, 2023, he served in a dual role as Interim Associate Vice President for Enrollment & Student Success and Director of Student Behavioral Health.
In his ongoing role as Senior Director of Student Success and Wellbeing, he supports student behavioral health initiatives and accessibility services, working with counseling, health, and disability services professionals at all of the UW System's campuses. He is a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of experience in higher education as a behavioral health practitioner, counseling center director, and student affairs administrator. He was a staff psychologist for 5 years in the Counseling Center at Concordia College-Moorhead before serving for 13 years as Counseling Center director at UW-Stout. Just prior to joining UW System, he served for 5 years as Associate Dean of Students at UW-Stout, where he chaired the behavior intervention team, was a Title IX investigator, and had supervisory oversight of counseling, health, and TRIO programs. John is passionate about serving students from all backgrounds and draws on positive psychology and trauma-informed approaches in his work.
John earned both M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Counseling Psychology from Iowa State University, and a B.A. in Psychology and Philosophy from Concordia College-Moorhead in Minnesota. His leisure interests include spending time with family, traveling, and many forms of exercise, especially outdoors.

Holly joined the Office of Enrollment & Student Success in June 2025. She contributes to projects including Direct Admit Wisconsin, residency and reciprocity, and Universities of Wisconsin policymaking. Previously, she worked as a researcher at the STEM Research Center at Oregon State University, focusing on inclusion and equity in undergraduate education. Her work is motivated by the belief that access to quality education is a fundamental right for all students, and that inclusion and equity are intrinsic to good teaching practice. She is particularly interested in creating institutional change in higher education, and is committed to translating the best insights from research into practice.

Kristen Jasperson joined the Office of Enrollment & Student Success in August 2023 as the Advisor for Student Success Initiatives, and became the Project Manager for Student Success Initiatives in January 2026. Previously, she worked at UW-Superior as both an academic advisor and the assistant director of Academic Advising. Prior to her role in academic advising, Kristen held positions at UW-Superior with the Admissions Office as the events planner and with the First Year Experience Office as the transfer welcome coordinator. Kristen received her M.S.Ed in Student Affairs Administration from UW-La Crosse and her B.A in English from UW-Superior.

Angie Kellogg joined the University of Wisconsin System as a Senior Academic Planner in January 2018. In her position, she helps lead the development and execution of UW System advising and student success strategies, and she provides leadership for the 360 Advising initiative. In addition, she serves as a liaison to various UW System student success stakeholder groups. Angie has 25 years of experience working at UW System institutions. She previously worked at UW-Stevens Point, serving first as an academic advisor and then as the director of Academic and Career Advising. She also later helped launch a mentoring program for first-year students at UW-Stevens Point. Prior to that, she worked at UW-La Crosse as coordinator and assistant director in Student Activities and Centers, and as a coordinator in the Office of Multicultural Student Services. Angie also has worked at UW-Madison, where she provided career advising and programming for students and alumni in the College of Engineering. In all her roles, she strives to promote diversity and equity and to support efforts to enhance student retention, completion, and success. Angie received her Ph.D. in Student Affairs Administration and Research from the University of Iowa; her M.S.E. in College Student Personnel from UW-La Crosse; and her B.A. in Communication-Media from Truman State University. She also received a certificate from the Management Development Program at Harvard University Graduate School of Education.

Christy Sevier brings nearly two decades of experience in higher education admissions and enrollment management to her role as Director of Strategic Enrollment at the Universities of Wisconsin. She has held leadership positions at various public and private institutions, including Louisiana State University, Saint Louis University, and Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University. Most recently, Christy served as Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management at the University of Toledo.
Throughout her career, Christy has been a champion of innovation and collaboration in student recruitment and retention. At the University of Toledo, she led a comprehensive transformation of the campus visit and event experience, including renovating key visit spaces and developing parent engagement initiatives. She also chaired multiple cross-functional committees focused on enrollment and the student experience.
During her time at FranU, Christy directed the implementation of Technolutions Slate, designing full-funnel communication campaigns that spanned the student journey from early recruitment through enrollment. Her leadership helped streamline processes across departments, resulting in a more integrated and student-centered enrollment and orientation experience.
Christy earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Louisiana State University and her Master of Arts in Leadership and Organizational Development from Saint Louis University. Her work is driven by a deep belief in the transformative power of education and a commitment to strategic, student-focused enrollment practices.
